Help on Wheels distributed and received 140 packs of Vitameal, with rice and lentil, for children affected by typhoon Odette in Puerto Princesa City.

This nutricious food pack came from donors who purchased through the Manila based distributors of Synergy One Global of Nu Skin, a leading brand in wellness known worldwide.

VitaMeal was formulated by Nu Skin’s nutritional scientists to determine the ingredients and ratios that are best suited for a malnourished child. The result is a product that includes highly effective levels of essential vitamins and minerals. (https://www.nuskin.com/en_AU/topnav-product-lines/vitameal.html)

It is hoped that the said meal packs will not just benefit the children from our communities hit by Typhoon Odette, but also expand into a malnutrition reduction program to every children of our partner waste pickers and farmers in Palawan.

Thank you Nu Skin!

Our Eco-Warriors from a small community in Jacana have received help in the form of construction materials to help rebuild their homes that were destroyed by Typhoon Odette on December 17, 2021.

Materials to fix their roof and broken walls were generously donated by our friends who took the initiative to pool support out of their own pockets and send it to PZC for its Help on Wheels Project.

“Salamat po sa inyong tulong sa amin, malaking bagay po na makatanggap kami ng pang-ayos sa sira-sira naming bahay dahil kay Odette,” said Nanay Lydia, one of our community leaders in Jacana and also a member of the Eco-Warriors.

PZC extends its gratitude to its friends in Clean Cities Blue Ocean who took part in this initiative as well as those individuals who anonymously sent us money to buy materials.

Mabuhay po kayong lahat!
